Linux Devops

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, configure, and optimize Linux-based servers and infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using shell scripting, Python, or similar languages.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployment processes.
• Ensure security best practices are followed in system configuration and deployment pipelines.
• Manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong expertise in Linux OS administration (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.)
• Proficiency in shell scripting, Python, or other automation scripting languages
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bamboo)
• Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or OpenShift
• Knowledge of configuration management tools: Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Familiarity with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools
• Understanding of networking, security, and monitoring tools (Nagios, Prometheus, ELK stack)
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus
