Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Linux System Administrator to install, configure, and maintain Linux-based systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability, in fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, patch and maintain Linux operating systems.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Implement and maintain security measures, including user access controls.
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery operations.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and groups.
- Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages like Bash or Python and tools like Ansible.
- Manage server storage and file systems.
Required qualifications
- Proven work experience ( 5-6 years ) as a Linux Administrator or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals and command-line interface.
- Building and supporting RHEL 8 linux servers in Azure.
- Experience with server hardware and management.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
