Location- Patna
Linux Server Administration activities:
Experience in administering RHEL 6.x/7.x server platforms supporting shared services (DNS, NFS, and GFS etc.) and multi-tiered applications.
Install and Configure RHEL OS on Servers, Implement OS Clustering using OS Add-on (HA and GFS file system)
Installing & Deployment RHEL 6.x & RHEL 7.x including unattended installation, Network Configuration.
Red hat Linux-serverside setup, configuration and basic administration of common networking services like: - HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, FTP/FTPS/VSFTPD, NFS, SMB, SMTP, SSH, NTP, DHCP, Telnet.
Configuration of server, storage, operating systems administration and tuning including Server hardware and software updates when necessary.
Experience with RHEL Server performance tuning
Adequate hardening of the operating systems of the Linux servers to prevent and know & unknown attacks.
Re-installation in the event of system crash/failures.
To be involved in developing and overseeing the backup, replication, clustering and fail over strategies.
Maintenance of a log of the performance monitoring of servers including but not limited to monitoring CPU, disk space, memory utilization, I/O utilization, etc.
Identification, diagnosis and resolution of problem areas pertaining to the DC infrastructure, application and maintenance of assured SLA levels.
Implementation and maintenance of standard operating procedures for maintenance of the infrastructure based on Standard policies.
Experience on JBOSS will be preferred (not mandatory)
