Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Linux System Administrator with proven expertise in OpenStack, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and OpenShift to manage, optimize, and scale our cloud-native infrastructure. You will play a critical role in ensuring high availability, security, and performance of Linux-based systems in a fast-paced IT/telecom environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (primarily RHEL/CentOS) across on-premises and cloud environments, including troubleshooting kernel, networking, and storage issues.
- Deploy, manage, and automate OpenStack components (e.g., Nova, Neutron, Cinder) for private cloud infrastructure, optimizing resource allocation and scalability.
- Administer Red Hat OpenShift clusters, including pod deployment, scaling, monitoring with Prometheus, and integration with CI/CD pipelines using Ansible or Helm.
- Perform system hardening, patch management, and security compliance (e.g., SELinux, firewall configurations) to mitigate vulnerabilities in production environments.
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or ELK stack; implement automation scripts (Bash/Python) for routine tasks and disaster recovery.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, and support migration to hybrid/multi-cloud setups.
- Document configurations, conduct root cause analysis for incidents, and contribute to 24/7 on-call rotations for critical systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics & Communication, or related field.
- 3 years of Linux administration experience, with at least 1 years hands-on with OpenStack, RHEL, and OpenShift.
- Certifications: RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer), OpenShift Administration, or equivalent (e.g., RHCSA, CKAD).
