We are seeking a skilled Linux Administrator to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and maintaining Linux systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and related applications.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Implement security measures and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Manage user accounts and permissions in a Linux environment.
• Perform regular system updates and backups.
• Document system configurations and procedures for future reference.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize system performance.

Skills and Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in Linux administration or related field.
• Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash, Python, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, CentOS, or Red Hat.
• Familiarity with server virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM).
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
