Lighting Sales professional drives revenue by selling LED, commercial, or residential lighting products to contractors, architects, designers, and distributors. Key responsibilities include securing project design wins, preparing technical quotations, conducting product presentations, and fostering long-term relationships to meet sales targets, often requiring 2+ years of experience in lighting or electrical industries.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Acquisition: Identify and canvass new clients, including architects, M&E consultants, and developers to secure project specifications.Sales & Negotiations: Prepare quotes, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals to meet or exceed monthly/annual quotas.Project Collaboration: Work with designers and lighting teams to ensure appropriate product selection and installation specifications.Relationship Management: Build long-term relationships with distributors, contractors, and key accounts to encourage repeat business.Technical Consultation: Provide expert advice on energy-efficient LED solutions, product capabilities, and design trends.Market Analysis: Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and government regulations to adapt sales strategies.
