Role Description

We are looking for a talented Lighting Designer with expertise in creating innovative and functional lighting layouts. As a crucial member of our team, you will play a key role in transforming spaces through your creative lighting solutions. The ideal candidate should have a passion for design, a deep understanding of lighting principles, and the ability to translate concepts into captivating and efficient lighting layouts.

Qualifications

-    Collaborate with clients, architects, and interior designers to understand project objectives and lighting requirements.

-       Develop creative and innovative lighting concepts that enhance the aesthetic and functional aspects of a space.

-       Create detailed lighting layouts using industry-standard software and tools.(Autocad, Dialux & Sketchup)

-       Ensure optimal placement of fixtures to achieve the desired ambience, functionality, and energy efficiency.

-       Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and lighting design advancements.

-       Apply technical knowledge to address challenges and provide effective lighting solutions.

-       Work closely with architects, interior designers, and other project stakeholders to integrate lighting seamlessly into overall design plans.

-       Present lighting design concepts and layouts to clients, addressing their feedback and ensuring client satisfaction.

-       Communicate technical aspects of the design in a clear and accessible manner.

Prepare comprehensive documentation, including lighting specifications, schedules, lux reports and detailed drawings.

Requirements:

-       Bachelor's degree in Lighting Design, Interior Design, or a related field.

-       Proven experience as a Lighting Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.

-       Proficiency in lighting design software and relevant tools.

-       Strong understanding of lighting principles, color theory, and energy-efficient lighting solutions.

-       Excellent communication and presentation skills.

-       Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment.
