Job Responsibilities
- Operate the hoist safely as per instructions and site safety rules.
- Check machine condition daily before starting duty (brake, limit switch, door interlock, emergency stop).
- Ensure load does not exceed 1.5 Ton capacity of the hoist.
- Allow only authorized persons to use the hoist.
- Ensure passengers wear PPE (Helmet, Safety Belt, etc.).
- Stop operation immediately in case of any fault, abnormal sound, or safety issue.
- Maintain daily logbook / checklist of hoist operation.
- Follow instructions of Site Engineer / Safety Officer.
- Keep hoist cabin and surrounding area clean and safe.
- Inform supervisor/mechanic about any breakdown or maintenance requirement.
