Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Lifeguard role based in Mumbai at Trident Hotel Bandra Kurla. The Lifeguard will monitor the pool area to ensure the safety and comfort of guests, maintaining constant vigilance and enforcing pool rules and regulations. Responsibilities include supervising swimmers, preventing unsafe behavior, responding promptly to emergencies, and performing water rescues and first aid as required. The Lifeguard will inspect and maintain pool equipment, check water quality, and report any hazards or maintenance needs. The role also involves providing courteous guest assistance, explaining facility policies, and supporting overall hygiene and cleanliness standards in the pool and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Strong swimming ability and demonstrated water safety skills, with the capacity to perform rescues and assist guests of varying ages and abilities.
• Current lifeguard certification from a recognized body; CPR, first aid, and AED certification strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of pool safety standards, emergency procedures, and basic facility maintenance related to water quality and equipment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage respectfully with guests and team members and to enforce rules calmly and clearly.
• High level of alertness, situational awareness, and the ability to remain focused for extended periods while on duty.
• Physical fitness sufficient to perform rescues, administer first aid, and carry out other physically demanding tasks.
• Prior experience as a lifeguard or in a similar safety-focused hospitality or recreation role is an advantage.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, in line with hotel and guest needs.
