Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Life Insurance Agent role based in Bengaluru. The Life Insurance Agent will engage with prospective and existing customers to understand their financial needs and recommend suitable life insurance products, including term plans, ULIPs, retirement, and child policies. Responsibilities include prospecting and generating leads through various channels, conducting consultations, explaining policy features and benefits, and providing transparent guidance on premiums, coverage, and riders. The role involves completing application processes, supporting customers through underwriting and issuance, and maintaining regular follow-ups to ensure renewals, cross-selling, and long-term relationships. The Life Insurance Agent will also collaborate with branch teams, adhere to regulatory and company compliance standards, and stay updated on product changes, market trends, and internal sales processes.
Qualifications

  • Strong insurance sales capabilities, including Insurance Sales and Insurance Brokerage, with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets in a customer-centric manner.
  • Solid understanding of Insurance and Finance to assess customer needs, explain product options clearly, and provide appropriate protection and investment solutions.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to build trust, handle queries and concerns professionally, and provide ongoing policy servicing and support.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to simplify complex financial concepts and present solutions confidently in person and over the phone.
  • Proactive mindset with strong negotiation, persuasion, and relationship-building abilities, along with basic digital literacy for using CRM tools and online platforms.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in life insurance, financial services, or sales is highly desirable; relevant IRDAI licensing or willingness to obtain it as required by regulations.
