Educational Qualification:

Essential : Engineering Graduate (UG) / PG in Sustainability/climate change

Main Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

.Knowledge on

Carbon footprint accounting as per GHG protocol

Life cycle (carbon) assessment of products for different powertrains and fuel types (Petrol, Diesel, CNG, Hybrids, Bio-fuels, EVs) as per ISO 14041 or any other relevant framework or global practices

.Research and Monitor the CAFE norms in transport sector globally including the carbon accounting adopted for various fuels in computation of CAFE

. Benchmarking carbon taxation in Transport sector globally

.Understanding of internal and external carbon pricing

.Strategies for carbon credit generation

.Understanding of compliance and voluntary carbon markets

.Knowledge on monetization of carbon credits

Competency Requirements

Technical/ Functional: Wide knowledge about the auto industry and strategy is desirable.
