Role Description The LIC Kolkata Mahila Career Agent Recruitment role is a full-time hybrid position based in Kolkata, with some flexibility for work-from-home activities. The role involves promoting LIC's insurance products to potential customers, understanding their financial protection needs, and recommending suitable life and health insurance plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and meeting clients, providing policy information and guidance, supporting customers through application and documentation processes, and maintaining long-term relationships to ensure renewals and cross-selling opportunities. The role also includes coordinating with LIC branches, attending training and review meetings, and staying updated on new products, regulations, and market trends. Successful agents are expected to work ethically, meet sales and service targets, and represent LIC professionally in the community.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance to effectively promote and explain life and health insurance products.
• Candidates should possess experience in Insurance Brokerage or related advisory roles to guide customers on suitable plans.
• Candidates should possess basic knowledge of Finance to understand savings, investments, and protection needs.
• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to support clients through onboarding, servicing, and claims-related queries.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term client relationships.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the capacity to work independently and manage time effectively in a hybrid work setting.
• Minimum educational qualification of a higher secondary or bachelor's degree, with eligibility to obtain necessary regulatory licenses as per IRDAI norms.
• Familiarity with local markets in Kolkata and willingness to travel within assigned areas; prior sales or field experience is an advantage.
