Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork Design & ArchitectureDesign, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available network architectures.Lead network upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives.Define network standards, best practices, and architecture documentation.Advanced Troubleshooting & EscalationsAct as the final escalation point for complex network incidents and outages.Perform deep-dive troubleshooting across LAN, WAN, WLAN, Data Center, and cloud networks.Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes.Network Operations & OptimizationOptimize network performance, availability, and reliability.Monitor network health and proactively address risks and capacity issues.Drive automation and continuous improvement in network operations.Security & ComplianceImplement and manage network security controls (firewalls, VPNs, ACLs, segmentation).Collaborate with Security teams on threat mitigation and compliance requirements.Ensure adherence to security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.Cloud & Hybrid NetworkingDesign and support cloud and hybrid network connectivity (AWS, Azure, GCP).Implement site-to-site VPNs, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, and SD-WAN solutions.Integrate on-prem and cloud networking securely and efficiently.Leadership & MentoringProvide technical leadership and mentoring to L1/L2 engineers.Review configurations, change requests, and implementation plans.Act as a subject matter expert (SME) during audits, reviews, and projects.Vendor & Stakeholder ManagementWork with network vendors and service providers for issue resolution and design guidance.Evaluate new networking technologies and tools.Coordinate with cross-functional teams on large initiatives
