Join the Lending Solutions Product team and help drive innovation in Securities-Based Lending (SBL) facility monitoring, collateral eligibility, and downstream data delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver products that meet customer needs and business objectives.
As a Lending Product Associate in Wealth Management, you will support the product development team in delivering a highly technical, financially material set of capabilities for Securities-Based Lending (SBL) facility monitoring, capital-efficient process execution, data management, and downstream financial reporting outcomes. You will assist in gathering insights, conducting analysis, and supporting the product backlog while partnering with Operations, Lending Solutions, Technology, and downstream teams to improve data quality, resiliency, and exception resolution.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the product owner and the development team in delivering high-quality products for Lending Solutions throughout your product area. You will gather and analyze data, assist in continuous discovery, and help manage the product backlog. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet customer needs and business objectives, with a specific focus on SBL facility monitoring, SBL collateral/eligibility rule outcomes, and SBL downstream data delivery and reporting readiness.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing strategies and visions for SBL facility monitoring, SBL data management, and downstream reporting outcomes.
- Support discovery efforts and research using design thinking approaches to uncover solutions for SBL process, monitoring, and data-quality challenges and integrate them into the product roadmap.
- Help maintain and develop a product backlog (e.g., epics/stories, acceptance criteria, supporting documentation) that supports the overall strategic roadmap for SBL monitoring, eligibility rule outcomes, and downstream data delivery.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives help track follow-ups and dependencies across partner teams supporting SBL processing, data validations, and controls.
- Assist with testing and release readiness for changes impacting SBL monitoring dashboards, eligibility outcomes, and downstream feed quality.
- Support day-to-day execution for SBL, including process documentation, data definitions, and operating model steps in partnership with Operations, Technology, and downstream teams.
- Facilitate collaboration and communication within the team and with other departments, particularly those involved in risk management and compliance, to support SBL eligibility-rule governance and issue remediation.
- Act as a point of contact for product-related queries and updates, including intake/triage of SBL monitoring and data exceptions and tracking to resolution.
- Use data and user tooling to support exception analysis, identify recurring themes (including non-netting collateral), and drive process improvements.
- Support continuous discovery by validating assumptions with users and iterating SBL collateral eligible workflows based on feedback.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Graduate with 5+ years of experience in Banking / Financial Services or a related field.
- Strategic and analytical thinker with a drive towards execution and results, with comfort operating in a domain with meaningful financial impact.
- Understanding of product strategy and roadmap development ability to support structured prioritization through data, insights, and documentation.
- Familiarity with the product development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Basic data analytics and digital skills to support business transformation, including ability to assist with data validation, exception analysis, and monitoring outcomes for SBL collateral eligibility and downstream feeds.
- General market and product knowledge, with an interest in industry trends and willingness to learn firm policies impacting capital-efficient facilities and controls.
- Willingness to learn and apply innovation and design thinking techniques.
