Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Legal Studies and Political Science Teacher at Winmore Academy Jakkur located in Bengaluru. The teacher will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging lesson plans, teaching Legal Studies and Political Science to students, and fostering an environment that encourages critical thinking and analytical skills. Additional responsibilities include evaluating student progress, providing feedback, and contributing to the development of the curriculum. Collaboration with colleagues and active participation in school activities will also be key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Legal Studies and Political Science with a strong foundation in subject knowledge and teaching methodologies.
• Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development, ensuring structured and comprehensive content delivery.
• Formal teaching credentials or certification as a Qualified Teacher, with demonstrated capabilities in classroom management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
• Aptitude for fostering critical thinking, analytical skills, and intellectual curiosity in students.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Legal Studies, Political Science, Education, or a related field (or equivalent qualifications).
• Previous teaching experience in a similar role or educational setting is an advantage.
