Legal Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for aLegal Specialistto join ourCompliance & Legal team. This role involves handling contracts, due diligence, litigation and MIS management for our business (preferably in the NBFC domain).

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and manage legal contracts with customers, clients and vendors.
• Prepare and maintain standard templates for various business functions.
• Conduct legal research and handle property due diligence (independently or via external counsel).
• Track due diligence reports from external counsel and advise business teams.
• Assist in preparing legal briefs, motions and other documents for litigation or regulatory proceedings.
• Coordinate and track customer and dealer litigation with external counsel.
• Maintain MIS for litigation and contracts (renewals, expiry alerts, periodic updates).
• Manage relationships with external legal vendors.
• Provide guidance on new case laws impacting the business.

Required Qualification

• LLB from a premier Law College.

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in contracts, due diligence & litigation (preferably in NBFC/Financial Services sector).
