Job Description & Key Requirements
We are looking for an in-house counsel to join the LSG team in Kochi, India. Reporting to the CEO, your role will be to advise and carry out duties that include filing for trademarks and copyright and patents on our various products. You will also be advising the board on specific legal matters related to client engagements, due diligence and compliance matters in India, US and UK/Europe.
The ideal candidate will have 5 plus years PQE, with a strong academic record. Through engaging with the senior management team, the in-house counsel role, depending on the candidate, will grow into a general counsel role with time. Our technology group is growing and we require this person to help grow and scale the business.
Though based in India, you will need to work during some EU and US time zone hours. Travel is not required at this point, but we would prefer a person able to work from our Kochi office, on a part time basis, being cognizant of the current pandemic. Competitive OTC and benefits are included.
