Legal & Recovery (Senior professional)

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior professional to lead end-to-end vehicle recovery operations across multiple cities, overseeing asset recovery, payment collections, legal case resolution, team management, and asset security, while continuously improving recovery processes to minimise financial and asset losses.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Pan-India vehicle recovery operations, handling delayed returns, non-drop-offs, theft, accidents & police-seized vehicles within defined TATs.
• Drive recovery of pending rentals, delay charges, damages, excess-KM charges & challans through structured, ageing-wise follow-ups.
• Coordinate legal & police matters - FIRs, affidavits, indemnity bonds & vehicle release documentation - for theft, fraud & accident cases.
• Lead, recruit, train & manage city-wise recovery teams, setting targets and monitoring performance.
• Drive vehicle security & GPS compliance, overseeing device health, installation, rectification & accurate location tracking.
• Conduct physical asset audits, resolve documentation discrepancies, and build SOPs & escalation matrices to improve efficiency.
• Plan & optimize Pan-India vehicle transportation while coordinating with Operations, Legal, Insurance, HR & BD teams.

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years in recovery, collections, fleet/asset management, mobility, automobile, rental, or logistics
• Proven experience managing multi-city / Pan-India operations
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management & crisis-handling skills
• Working knowledge of GPS/CCTV/fleet-tracking systems & Excel/Google Sheets
• Education Eligibility: Law graduates/postgraduates strongly preferred; candidates with experience as a practicing Advocate or in legal/recovery coordination roles will have a distinct advantage
