We're Hiring Manager Legal, Bangalore | Subex Ltd
At Subex, we power digital trust for telcos and enterprises across global markets. As we expand our footprint across Africa and emerging markets, we're looking for an experienced Assistant Manager Legal to partner closely with our sales and business teams in driving high-impact commercial deals.
This role is ideal for a commercial contracts specialist who thrives in fast-paced tech/SaaS environments and enjoys negotiating complex, high-value agreements.
What You'll Do:
- Draft, review, negotiate, and close customer contracts including MSAs, SOWs, SaaS Agreements, Software License & Services Agreements, Change Requests, Amendments, and Addendums
- Ensure all contracts align with Subex Contracting Standards and internal policies
- Own contracts end-to-end, from deal review to execution
- Provide legal inputs for RFPs/RFQs/RFIs from telecom customers
- Identify legal, contractual, and compliance risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Review and negotiate agreements with Partners, Resellers, Distributors, and Teaming Partners
- Enable compliant and scalable partner-led sales models
- Draft and negotiate Vendor Agreements, NDAs, Subcontractor Agreements, and third-party contracts
- Update contract templates and playbooks
- Conduct legal research on statutes, governing laws (including English law), and emerging legal concepts
What We're Looking For:
- LLB or equivalent qualification with 710 years of experience in commercial contracting
- Strong background in software/SaaS companies (telecom exposure is a plus)
- Hands-on experience with international contracts, especially Africa-region deals
- Bar Council membership or equivalent professional standing
- Proven expertise in contract negotiation, risk assessment, and legal research
