Roles & Responsibilities
Real estate matters/transactions (towards residential and commercial both) including but not limited to; i) title due diligence/report, risk identification, mitigation plans, ii) structuring, drafting & negotiation of transaction documents like; development rights, conveyance, joint venture, lease, leave & license, LLP deed, loan, mortgage, collaboration, options, service agreements, EPC, agreement for sale, booking forms, application forms, expression of interest, power of attorney, etc. iii) litigation matters (before HC, City Civil, Small Causes, RERA, Consumer forum, NCLT, etc.) and iv) Arbitration,
Well versed with Land laws, legislations, regulations and notifications relevant to real estate, civil and criminal law including but not limited to knowledge of revenue / land records with various authorities and any change/update from time to time.
Dealing and liaisoning with authorities like MCGM, NMMC, TMC, CIDCO, MSRDC, MIDC, ED, etc.
RERA filings, compliances and audits.
Handling client/customer queries / disputes.
Drafting of legal notices, pleadings, letters, etc.
Regular/general research work and well versed with online search portals like, Manupatra, SSC, High court, etc. websites.
Working with multi-disciplinary teams (like business development, finance, strategy, sales, projects team, operations, etc.) for efficient and effective closure of deal, contracts, launch, projects, etc.
Maintaining comprehensive documentation of land records, related transactions, litigation, etc.
Adjudication, stamping and registration process of transaction documents, customer agreements, etc.
Inspect and provide timely inputs to liaison team in obtaining approvals, permissions, etc.
Regular interactions and follow-up with JVP, advocates/solicitors/law-firms/external consultants on ongoing matters/engagement and make sure timely payment of their fees/invoices.
Proficiency in English and Marathi language.
