About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Legal Manager to handle end-to-end legal functions for our Construction & Real Estate projects. The candidate will be responsible for contract management, land due diligence, litigation coordination, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation to safeguard company interests.
Key Responsibilities
1. Contract Management
Drafting, vetting, and negotiating construction contracts, EPC contracts, JV agreements, development agreements, vendor contracts, lease deeds, and consultancy agreements.
Handling MOUs, LOIs, NDAs, subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, etc.
Ensuring contractual risk mitigation and compliance with statutory requirements.
2. Real Estate & Land Matters
Conducting land due diligence, title verification, and documentation review.
Handling development agreements, conveyance deeds, sale agreements, and RERA-related documentation.
Coordinating with external advocates, solicitors, and government authorities.
3. Litigation & Dispute Management
Managing civil, commercial, arbitration, and property-related disputes.
Coordinating with panel lawyers and tracking court cases.
Preparing case briefs, documentation, and legal strategy inputs.
4. Regulatory & Compliance
Ensuring compliance with:
RERA
Stamp Duty & Registration laws
Municipal and local development regulations
Companies Act & other applicable laws
Liaising with government bodies and regulatory authorities.
5. Risk Management & Advisory
Identifying legal risks in projects and suggesting preventive strategies.
Advising management on legal implications of business decisions.
Supporting tender documentation and bid submissions.
Candidate Profile
Qualification: LLB from a recognized university
Enrolled with Bar Council of India (preferred)
810 years of experience in Construction / Real Estate legal domain
Strong knowledge of property laws, contract law, arbitration, RERA, and corporate laws
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
