Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Drafting, Review & Negotiation

  • Draft, review, and finalize legal agreements, including Lease Agreements, Service Agreements, Vendor Contracts, NDAs, and MoUs.
  • Negotiate terms with landlords, clients, vendors, and stakeholders to minimize risk.
  • Maintain standardized templates for recurring agreements to ensure efficiency and consistency.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with real estate, corporate, and commercial laws, including RERA, labor laws, property laws, and local municipal regulations.
  • Conduct title scrutiny, due diligence, and land registration checks.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes, assess operational impact, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Establish internal compliance processes across departments.

Litigation & Dispute Resolution

  • Handle litigation, arbitration, and pre-litigation matters related to lease agreements, service disputes, or regulatory issues.
  • Prepare legal responses, draft notices, and represent the company as needed.
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel for specialized cases, ensuring cost-effective strategies.
  • Maintain preventive legal strategies to minimize disputes.

Advisory & Internal Legal Support

  • Provide legal advisory support to the Managing Director and senior management.
  • Assist in structuring business deals, partnerships, and vendor tie-ups.
  • Review company policies, HR guidelines, and operational procedures for legal compliance.
  • Conduct periodic legal awareness and compliance training sessions.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain a centralized repository of legal documents, contracts, and regulatory filings.
  • Track contract renewals, license expirations, and statutory filings.
  • Generate periodic compliance, litigation, and risk assessment reports for senior leadership.
  • Support internal and external audits with necessary legal documentation.
