CDP group has products for Data Integrations, Data Management, Customer Services, Data Analytics and Data Governance. The suite of data products enables Marketers to provide personalised engagements and loyalty programs using Capillary Engage+ and Loyalty+ products.

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Executive - Legal to join our team and support the organization's legal and compliance functions. In this role, you will handle drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal contracts, manage litigation matters, and ensure adherence to legal compliances. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate legal risks, assist in complex legal processes, and contribute to the organization's strategic initiatives. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to corporate law, international legal frameworks, and technology-related legal matters.

Responsibilities:

● Draft and review legal contracts, including software agreements, commercial contracts, NDAs, vendor agreements, and other India and international contracts.

● Assist in vetting Statements of Work (SOWs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and tender documents.

● Negotiate contracts from start to closure, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.

● Draft legal notices, recovery notices, and manage litigation matters.

● Coordinate with internal stakeholders to secure approvals and facilitate contract closures.

● Identify potential legal risks and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them.

● Conduct research on international laws and monitor significant developments in the legal industry.

● Ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

● Support legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and IPO-related work. Qualifications: ● Bachelor's degree in law (LLB – 3 or 5 years) or an equivalent degree.

● 10 -13years of experience, preferably in an IT/software company with exposure to international laws.

● Strong knowledge of corporate law and technology-related legal frameworks.

Skills:

● Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts of low to mid-level complexity.

● Excellent legal research skills and attention to detail.

● Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas effectively.

● Quick learner with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

● Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with fluency in written and spoken English.

● Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
