Job Description

  • Conduct detailed research on corporate, commercial, intellectual property, and other non-litigation legal matters.
  • Stay updated on legal amendments and regulatory developments.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing agreements, contracts, MOUs, NDAs, and other legal documents.
  • Prepare internal reports, legal memos, and opinions for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company law, labor law, intellectual property law, and other applicable statutes.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining compliance records for audits and filings.
  • Collaborate with senior associates or lawyers to address client requirements.
  • Gather and organize case-related information from clients.
  • Participate in due diligence exercises related to mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
  • Organize and review corporate documents and reports for compliance.
  • Support the team in trademark, copyright, or patent filing and management processes.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Pursuing or completed a degree in LLB (Bachelor of Law) or equivalent legal studies.
  • Strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, and related fields.
  • Excellent legal drafting, analytical, and research skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
