Job Description

  • Provide legal advisory support for operational activities across all the offices in India
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a broad suite of commercial contracts, corporate documents, playbooks, handbooks, trackers, and templates.
  • Manage intellectual property matters, including contentious issues relating to brand protection.
  • Oversee and drive litigation and disputeresolution strategy, ensuring timely updates and outcome management.
  • Support corporate governance, including company secretarial requirements for entities based in India and other jurisdictions across APAC and EMEA.
  • Advise HR on employment law, employeerelations matters, employment agreements, and separationrelated documentation.
  • Conduct legal research and provide guidance on Indian legal and regulatory requirements in the financial sector
  • Collaborate with global teams in Legal, HR, Compliance, Accounting, Operations, and other business units.
  • Manage relationships with various external legal advisors and regulatory bodies.
  • Undertake special projects, crossfunctional initiatives, and any additional responsibilities as required.

The Successful Applicant

An ideal candidate needs to have:

  • A degree in Law from a recognized university.
  • A CS qualification. Experience with global entities would be required.
  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Comfort with an afternoon shift
