Role : Legal Head – Listed Bank

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the legal function for the bank and provide strategic legal guidance to senior management
- Ensure compliance with Reserve Bank of India, Securities and Exchange Board of India, and other statutory authorities
- Handle litigation, arbitration, and dispute management
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documentation
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance and listing regulations
- Manage legal risks related to banking operations, lending, and recovery
- Coordinate with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and strategic transactions
Candidate Profile:
- Strong knowledge of banking laws and regulatory frameworks
- Experience in listed company legal compliance
- Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management ability
- Prior experience in banking / NBFC / financial services preferred
