Job Description

About the Role: We are looking for a legal executive to manage litigation matters and the contract lifecycle while ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements. The role requires a proactive individual with excellent attention to detail, capable of managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, particularly external legal counsel.

Key Responsibilities :

Contract Drafting & Management:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and vendor contracts
  • Ensure that contracts are in compliance with relevant laws and organizational standards

Litigation Management:

  • Track and manage ongoing litigation cases, coordinating with external legal counsel as required
  • Prepare case briefs, legal notices, replies, and documents for court proceedings.
  • Maintain an organised case tracker and provide regular updates.

Legal Advisory:

  • Advise internal teams on legal risks, rights, and obligations under existing laws and contracts.

Due Diligence & Risk Assessment:

  • Assist with due diligence processes and risk assessments related to ongoing or upcoming business transactions.

Experience:

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in litigation management and contract drafting/review. o Practical knowledge of civil, commercial, and corporate law.

Skills:

  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce, logistics, or corporate laws is highly desirable

Educational Qualifications:

  • LL.B. from a recognized university (LL.M. preferred but not mandatory)
