Key Responsibilities

Legal Compliance Regulatory Management
Ensure Compliance With Applicable Laws Including
- Motor Vehicles Act CMVR
- GST Act/ E-way bill
- Labour Laws (CLRA, EPF, ESI, Shops Establishment)
Monitor regulatory changes and advise management on legal impact.
Maintain compliance calendars.
Contract Drafting Vetting
Draft, Review, And Negotiate
- Transport freight agreements
- Vendor / subcontractor contracts
- Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Lease, warehouse agreements
- NDAs MoUs
Ensure risk mitigation through indemnity, limitation of liability, insurance, and arbitration clauses.
Litigation Dispute Management
Handle Litigation Related To
- Cargo loss/damage claims
- Freight disputes
- GST/E-way bill
- Consumer complaints
- Labour and employee matters
Coordinate with external counsels and consultants.
Manage notices, replies, pleadings, and court appearances.
Maintain litigation MIS and case status reports.
Risk Management Legal Advisory
Conduct legal due diligence for new projects, vendors, and partners.
Identify legal risks in operational activities and suggest preventive controls.
Coordinate business teams on legal implications of decisions.
GST Compliance Support
Assist In GST Compliance
Support Compliance
- Detention issues
- Penalty notices
Policy Development Training
Implement internal policies, SOPs, and compliance manuals.
Conduct legal awareness sessions for operations and HR teams.
