Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal opinions and guidance to internal stakeholders on business transactions and operational matters.
- Identify legal risks and recommend mitigation measures.
- Support business teams in resolving contractual and legal issues.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Handle legal recovery cases across secured and unsecured loan portfolios.
- Initiate and monitor recovery proceedings under applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage cases under the SARFAESI Act for secured assets.
Requirements
- LLB (Bachelor of Laws) from a recognized university.
- Enrollment with Bar Council would be an added advantage.
- 2-6 years of experience in Legal Recovery, Collections Legal, Banking Legal, NBFC Legal, or Litigation Management.
- Experience handling retail, SME, commercial vehicle, LAP, mortgage, or secured asset recovery cases preferred.
