Legal Executive / Assistant Manager - Legal

We are seeking a highly motivated Legal Executive / Assistant Manager - Legal to join our high-performing legal team. You will work closely with and report to the VP-Legal, providing critical support on a wide range of legal, regulatory, and transactional matters. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a fast-growing fintech company, advising on emerging technology issues and contributing to strategic initiatives across jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize commercial contracts and technology agreements in India, the US, and the UAE.
• Manage the complete contract lifecycle to ensure clarity, efficiency, and robust protection of Signzy s interests.
• Support product and business teams by advising on regulatory and compliance requirements for new features and products.
• Provide legal guidance on the permissible use cases of Signzys products in line with applicable financial sector regulations.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to ensure compliance with evolving data protection laws, including Indias Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
• Drive and manage regulatory license applications and ensure compliance with ongoing regulatory obligations.
• Oversee and coordinate the management of Signzy s patent portfolio in India and the US, working closely with external IP counsel.

Eligibility Criteria:

• LL.B. degree from a reputed law school or university.
• 0-2 years of post-qualification experience in a corporate legal, technology, fintech, or regulatory environment.
• Strong understanding of commercial transactions, fintech/technology laws, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
