About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and business-oriented Legal Counsel at TAC Security. The role involves advising on corporate, commercial, regulatory, and cybersecurity-related legal matters while enabling business growth in a fast-paced tech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract Management:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements including NDAs, vendor contracts, client agreements, SaaS contracts, and partnership agreements.
- Regulatory & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including data protection, cybersecurity, and IT laws (e.g., Labour Laws, Indian IT Act).
- Legal Advisory:
- Provide legal guidance to internal stakeholders on business operations, risk mitigation, and strategic initiatives.
- Corporate Governance:
- Support corporate legal matters including board documentation, statutory filings, and corporate structuring.
- Risk Management:
- Identify legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, especially in cybersecurity and data privacy domains.
- Litigation Management:
- Coordinate with external counsel on disputes, litigation, and regulatory matters.
- Policy Development:
- Draft and implement internal legal policies, compliance frameworks, and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB); LLM preferred
- 4–8 years of relevant legal experience (law firm or in-house, preferably in tech/cybersecurity)
- Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate law, and data protection regulations
- Experience handling international contracts is a plus
