Job Description

Location: Rajasthan

Experience: 5–8 years

We are looking for a commercially oriented Legal Counsel to manage legal matters for a diversified business group, with primary responsibility for its food, dairy, beverage and FMCG businesses, along with select real-estate matters.

The role will work closely with senior management and teams across manufacturing, procurement, sales, marketing, HR and projects.

Key Responsibilities

· Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements including manufacturing/co-packing, supply, procurement, distribution, service, consultancy, NDA and customer agreements.

· Advise management and business teams on commercial transactions, contractual obligations and legal risks.

· Handle food/FMCG regulatory matters including FSSAI, Legal Metrology, Consumer Protection, product labelling, packaging declarations and marketing claims.

· Support legal matters relating to manufacturing, procurement, distribution, logistics and supply-chain operations.

· Manage litigation, legal notices and disputes, including coordination with external advocates and regulatory authorities.

· Support trademark, brand licensing, confidentiality and other IP-related matters, coordinating with specialist counsel where required.

· Review property documentation including title documents, sale/lease deeds and other real-estate agreements.

· Maintain appropriate systems for contracts, litigation, renewals and key legal/compliance matters.

Candidate Profile

· LL.B. from a recognized university with 5–8 years of relevant experience.

· Prior experience in Food & Beverage, FMCG, Dairy, Manufacturing or Consumer Products strongly preferred.

· Strong commercial contract drafting and negotiation skills.

· Working knowledge of food/FMCG regulations and litigation management.

· Exposure to property documentation would be an advantage.

· Ability to translate legal issues into practical business solutions and work independently with senior management.
