Job Description

Nityo Infotech is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Executive to join our growing legal and compliance team. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience in contract review, drafting, and documentation, with the ability to collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as HR, Sales, Delivery, Procurement, and Finance. Knowledge of European immigration laws or exposure to mobility/visa processes will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Management

Review, draft, and modify a wide range of commercial agreements including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, subcontractor agreements, and service-level contracts.

Ensure contracts comply with internal policies, legal standards, and risk guidelines.

Identify and highlight contractual risks, propose mitigation strategies, and support negotiations.

Maintain contract templates, trackers, and repository for seamless documentation and audit readiness.

Legal & Compliance Support

Assist in interpreting laws, regulations, and company policies relevant to operations across multiple geographies.

Support internal teams in understanding legal clauses, compliance norms, and documentation requirements.

Conduct legal research and prepare concise summaries or advisory notes as needed.

Immigration & Mobility (Europe) Added Advantage

Provide support on immigration documentation for Europe (EU Blue Card, work permits, visas, residence permits, etc.).

Coordinate with external immigration partners and internal mobility teams for timely submissions and compliance.

Maintain knowledge of European mobility regulations, timelines, and documentation checklists.

Documentation & Reporting

Prepare legal drafts, letters, compliance reports, and stakeholder communication.

Maintain accurate logs and trackers for contracts, legal cases, and immigration files.

Assist in audits, internal reviews, or compliance initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

LLB or equivalent law degree from a recognized institution.

12 years of experience in contract review, drafting, and commercial legal support.

Strong understanding of contractual terms, risk identification, and documentation standards.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under tight timelines, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience maintaining trackers/repositories.

Preferred / Good to Have

Exposure to European immigration processes (work permits, visa filings, compliance paperwork).

Experience working in IT/consulting/outsourcing industries.

Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with maturity and confidentiality.
