Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Legal & ComplianceIntern to join our team. This role is perfect for a fresh law graduate or a current law student looking to gain hands-on experience in corporate law, contract management and regulatory compliances.

You will act as the crucial bridge between our internal teams (Legal and Company Secretary) and external parties, ensuring our initial legal operations and compliance communications run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Contract & Legal Coordination

  • NDA Management: Initiate the contract lifecycle by sending standard Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) to prospective partners, clients, or vendors.

  • Primary Point of Contact: Act as the first line of communication between external parties and our internal legal team.

  • Query Routing: Collect initial feedback or requested redlines on NDAs from the other party and efficiently relay them to the internal legal team for review.

  • Document Tracking: Maintain a clean, organized log of all executed and pending NDAs.

Corporate Compliance Support

  • CS Team Liaison: Serve as a dedicated point of contact between our internal Company Secretary (CS) team and external stakeholders (e.g., vendors, regulatory consultants, auditors).

  • Compliance Tracking: Assist the CS team in tracking documentation required for corporate filings and routine compliances.

  • Administrative Support: Help organize compliance records, corporate governance documents, and meeting minutes as needed.

Requirements

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Currently pursuing a Law degree (final year LLB/LLM preferred) or a fresh law graduate. Students pursuing Company Secretary (CS) alongside law are highly encouraged to apply.

  • Knowledge Base: A strong foundational understanding of contract law (specifically NDAs) and basic corporate compliances (e.g., the Companies Act).

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You must be comfortable drafting professional emails and speaking with external stakeholders.

  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy in reviewing basic documents and tracking processes.

  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple requests from different teams simultaneously without letting things fall through the cracks

Benefits

What We Offer

  • Hands-on Experience: Real-world exposure to corporate legal operations and compliance frameworks.

  • Mentorship: Direct guidance from our experienced internal Legal and CS professionals.

  • Stipend: Competitive stipend per month.
