We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance and Operations Specialist to join our team at EduFund. This role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth execution of compliance- related tasks and operational processes, contributing to the organization's regulatory adherence and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- CS Coordination: Collaborate with the company's corporate secretarial functions to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Legal Agreements: Manage and oversee the preparation and execution of legal agreements involving non-HR stakeholders, including individuals and companies.
- Investment Operations: Handle the legal paperwork associated with investment operations, including the maintenance of ARN (AMFI Registration Number) and RIA (Registered Investment Advisor) compliance.
- Investor Coordination: Facilitate seamless communication with investors, coordinating signatures, and acting as a liaison to ensure a streamlined process.
- ESOP Maintenance and Updation: Monitor and update the company's Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) documentation as required.
- Additional Compliance Tasks: Undertake any other compliance-related responsibilities that may arise within the EduFund group, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in compliance, legal operations, or a related role.
- Knowledge of corporate governance, legal agreements, and investment operations.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
Specific Criteria Required For The Applicants
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- CS degree would be preferred
- 3-4 years of experience in the relevant field.
- Good communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, management and organizational skills
