Qualifications
- Bachelor's at law from a reputed college in India.
- Additional - Master's at law or CS
What We Are Looking For
- 8+ years of PQE with relevant experience in MNCs.
- Good to have: Transaction advisory in law firms
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Primary Responsibilities
- Support business operations by drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and commercial agreements
- Liaise with business, marketing, compliance, HR, tax and finance teams to gather information and ensure timely legal input on business initiatives
- Liaise with global COE teams such as IPR, Data privacy etc. for issues impacting India businesses
- Handle litigations and external counsel management
- Adept with using new technology for legal function. Working knowledge of Contract Lifecycle Management tools and Compliance Management Systems.
- Support special projects including internal process improvements, audit and regulatory responses, real estate expansion, e-commerce, legal & advisory support to Global Capability Center (India) and HR global shared services.
- Contribute to the creation and improvement of internal templates, playbooks, and policies to streamline deal / commercial processes.
- Monitor and interpret relevant regulatory developments across key IMEA jurisdictions with focus on India for advising on potential impact on transactions.
- Develop and deliver training and guidance on legal topics to mitigate risks and enhance the efficiency of legal services.
