Job Description

Associate/Sr. Associate-Legal

Department: Legal

Location: Gurgaon

Experience: Minimum 4 years

Key Job Responsibilities

As Legal personnel, the incumbent will work along with the cross-functional teams to draft & review various legal documents and agreements while maintaining a strong commitment to legal excellence and ethical standards. Below are the key responsibilities:

  • Drafting and Reviewing of Legal Documents, Commercial Contracts, Service Agreements.
  • Support business with Non-Disclosure Agreements
  • Must have handled Litigation, including criminal matters, civil matters, DRT, DRAT, NCLT/NCLAT, ARBITRATIONS.
  • Procedural Knowledge of criminal matters including trial, appellate, Section 175(3), FIR, 138 NI Act Complaint, Arbitrations etc.
  • Knowledge of civil matters including arbitration, execution and trial.
  • Basic Knowledge of Indian property laws including (DRT/SARFASI) and RERA (Conciliation).
  • Knowledge of legal compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross functional teams.
  • Coordination with internal departments and external counsels, attending hearings, preparation of case notes.

Key Competencies

  • Ability to handle complex legal documents and apply general legal concepts in day-to-day interpretation.
  • Excellent drafting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in Real-Estate industry is preferable.
