About the Role

We are looking for a Legal Associate to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Mohali. You will support the firm's financial, commercial, MSME and dispute resolution matters, working closely with partners and senior lawyers on case strategy and delivery.

This is a hands-on role in a partner-led environment, offering early responsibility, direct exposure to clients and the opportunity to take ownership of your own files as you progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Researching legal issues and applying statutes and case law to client matters
• Drafting and reviewing pleadings, contracts, legal notices, opinions and case summaries
• Preparing and maintaining case files and supporting litigation and dispute resolution work
• Managing debt recovery, MSME claims and commercial disputes from assessment through to resolution
• Coordinating with clients, courts, tribunals and regulatory bodies
• Working with partners and senior lawyers to develop case strategies
• Maintaining accurate records and tracking deadlines across multiple matters
• Ensuring timely, high-quality legal deliverables in line with professional and ethical standards

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• LLB or equivalent law degree from a recognised institution
• Strong foundational knowledge of corporate, commercial, financial and dispute resolution law
• Excellent legal drafting skills across pleadings, contracts, notices, opinions and case summaries
• Sound analytical ability, including legal research, issue spotting and risk assessment
• Ability to identify, analyse and manage legal issues across MSME, debt recovery, commercial disputes and regulatory matters
• Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to present legal positions concisely and interact professionally with clients
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple matters at once
• A business-focused approach to legal problem-solving

Preferred:

• Enrolment as an Advocate
• Prior experience (internship or full-time) in litigation, dispute resolution, banking and finance or commercial law
• Comfort working in a boutique, partner-led environment and willingness to take ownership of files
