Job Responsibilities:
- Provide end-to-end legal support to the Company, including preparation, review, and negotiation of a wide range of commercial contracts and legal documentation.
- Handle global contracts, including but not limited to framework agreements, global supply agreements, service contracts, distribution arrangements, and confidentiality agreements, in coordination with relevant business and global legal teams.
- Ensure consistency and alignment between global and local contractual terms and safeguard the Company's commercial and legal interests.
- Develop, update, and maintain standard templates, policies, and procedures for contract management to ensure compliance with applicable laws and Group standards.
- Drive and monitor legal and regulatory compliance programs, including adherence to applicable local laws, corporate governance norms, and the Group's Code of Conduct.
- Manage litigation, claims, and government investigations by coordinating with internal stakeholders and external counsels, particularly in matters related to food laws, consumer protection, environmental laws and labor laws.
- Draft, review, and respond to legal notices and communications received by or issued on behalf of the Company, in consultation with external legal advisors as needed.
- Provide legal opinions and interpretations of laws and regulations affecting the Company's operations, products, and functions.
- Conduct legal due diligence and support business initiatives and projects from a risk management perspective.
- Track key legal and regulatory developments relevant to the Company and ensure timely implementation of compliance measures.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Law Graduate (LL.B)
Experience: 5-8 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing sector, with exposure to contract drafting and negotiation, including cross-border agreements.
