Job Description
We are looking to hire a high-calibre Legal Associate to join our in-house legal team in Bengaluru. This role is suited for lawyers trained at top-tier law firms who are looking to transition into a dynamic in-house role with meaningful ownership, commercial exposure, and direct business impact. This is not a routine contracts role but offers hands-on experience across transactions, structuring, fundraising, IP strategy, and commercial operations in a fast-scaling technology business.
What You Will Work On
- Support fundraising transactions and investor documentation
- Corporate structuring and governance across group entities
- Managing end-to-end legal due diligence processes
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial, technology, licensing, and strategic partnership agreements
- Intellectual property strategy, portfolio management, and IP protection across games, technology, and brand assets
- Supporting game development and commercial launch processes, including platform, publishing, distribution, and regulatory readiness
- Advising product and business teams on legal considerations relating to game features, monetization models, user engagement, and market expansion
- Supporting product, commercial, and expansion initiatives
- Managing external law firms and specialist advisors
- Advising business and leadership teams on risk-balanced commercial decisions
- Supporting the General Counsel on strategic and cross-border matters
Who Should Apply
- Lawyers with 14 years PQE, preferably from Tier-1 law firms or strong transactional experience
- Experience in M&A, PE/VC and general corporate preferred
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Commercial mindset and ability to work closely with business teams
- Interest in technology, gaming, or startup ecosystems
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
