About the Role
We are looking for a Legal Associate (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on legal research, compliance analysis, contract review, regulatory interpretation, and legal reasoning workflows.
In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to legal documentation, case analysis, policy interpretation, compliance frameworks, and research workflows, helping improve how AI models understand and solve real-world legal and regulatory challenges.
Your expertise will contribute to improving AI systems used for legal intelligence, compliance automation, document analysis, and AI-powered research workflows.
Responsibilities
- Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain
- Annotate and evaluate AI-generated legal research and compliance-related outputs
- Review peer-developed deliverables to improve AI research quality and consistency
- Assess AI outputs for legal accuracy, logical reasoning, compliance alignment, and document quality
- Identify inconsistencies, weak legal reasoning, compliance risks, contractual gaps, or interpretation errors in AI-generated solutions and provide structured feedback
- Support workflows involving legal documentation, policy analysis, contract review, and regulatory research
- Contribute domain expertise to improve AI systems focused on legal intelligence and compliance workflows
Requirements
- Background in Law, Legal Studies, Corporate Law, or related fields
- Strong understanding of legal research, contract analysis, compliance procedures, and regulatory frameworks
- Familiarity with legal drafting, documentation review, and case law analysis
- Experience with corporate legal processes, compliance operations, or legal research platforms is preferred
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and reasoning skills
- Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated legal outputs for accuracy and consistency
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
