Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on corporate, commercial, employment, data privacy, and regulatory matters.
- Prepare legal memos, summaries, and briefing materials for senior legal staff review.
- Assist in interpreting laws and regulations relevant to company operations.
- Draft, review, and edit business agreements including NDAs, vendor contracts, and engagement letters.
- Maintain contract templates and support the contract lifecycle process.
- Identify legal risks in agreements and escalate complex issues to Corporate Legal Counsel.
- Support implementation of corporate compliance programs and internal policies.
- Monitor regulatory changes and maintain compliance documentation.
- Conduct internal audits or checks to ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
- Respond to internal stakeholders requests for routine legal information or documentation.
- Assist HR with employment-related documentation and routine employee matters.
- Manage legal department administrative tasks, including legal invoicing, document organization, and communication with external counsel.
Experience Required
- 5 - 8 years of experience in corporate or commercial legal practice.
- Strong experience in legal research, contract drafting, and compliance monitoring.
- Familiarity with corporate laws, employment regulations, and data privacy laws.
- Knowledge of legal entity management and regulatory requirements is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
