Role Overview

We are looking for a Legal Associate with strong expertise in real estate laws and transactions to join our Legal & Compliance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can balance legal precision with business practicality. You will be a key advisor on property acquisitions, regulatory compliance, and project-related legal matters, ensuring smooth and compliant execution of developments.

Key Responsibilities

Draft, vet, and negotiate key legal documents including:

Agreements for Sale, Conveyance Deeds, Joint Venture & Development Agreements, Lease Deeds.

Conduct comprehensive title due diligence for land and property acquisitions.

Ensure compliance with RERA, MOFA, Stamp Duty & Registration Act, Companies Act, and other relevant laws.

Coordinate with law firms, external counsel, and government authorities for approvals and NOCs.

Provide strategic legal advice on land acquisition, project structuring, and regulatory risks.

Manage litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution matters related to projects.

Keep management updated on legal developments impacting real estate.

Conduct internal training and knowledge-sharing sessions on compliance and risk management.

Qualifications & Skills

LL.B / LL.M from a recognized university.

58 years of relevant experience in real estate law with a reputed law firm or real estate developer.

In-depth knowledge of property laws, title verification, and regulatory frameworks (especially RERA).

Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
