Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end immigration filings for US and other geographies (H1B, L1, B1/B2, extensions, amendments, PERM coordination, etc.).
- Prepare and review visa petitions, RFEs, documentation, and compliance records.
- Coordinate with external immigration attorneys/vendors and internal stakeholders (HR, TAG, Delivery, Finance).
- Support employee onboarding/offboarding from an immigration and compliance standpoint.
- Maintain accurate immigration trackers, case status reports, and documentation.
- Ensure adherence to immigration laws, timelines, and internal compliance standards.
- Assist with audits, policy updates, and process improvements related to global mobility.
- Provide guidance to employees on visa processes, documentation, and timelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- LLB (Bachelor of Laws) from a recognized university.
- Hands-on experience in immigration filing (preferably US immigration H1B, L1, RFEs, extensions).
- Strong knowledge of immigration processes, documentation, and compliance.
- Experience working with US immigration vendors/attorneys (e.g., Fragomen, BAL, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in US shift coordination and manage multiple cases in parallel.
- Prior experience in IT services / consulting organizations preferred.
