Legal Assistant

I am seeking for an Advocate with 2 years of active litigation or legal experience to work in real estate sector of Odisha on a full-time basis. The scope and exposure shall be immense as the Advocate would be working with a known law firm of Odisha, and various leading real estate developer companies of Odisha.

Job Role & Responsibilities:

Handling litigation and non-litigation legal assignments.

Advising on matters related to civil, building, and real estate laws of Odisha.

Drafting and reviewing legal documents, agreements, and contracts.

Representing the company in legal proceedings before various authorities and forums.

Managing all real estate related compliance as per the RERA act and rules, the Odisha Apartment ownership and management Act and Rules, and other applicable real estate related laws.

Coordinating with external legal counsels and regulatory bodies.

Managing legal compliance and due diligence for real estate projects, including land.

. Coordinating with development authorities, other concerned authorities (Environment, electricity, water, irrigation, tehsildaar) regarding NOCs, facilitating registration of documents etc.

Eligibility Criteria:

Advocate with a minimum of 2 years of active litigation/legal experience.

Must be enrolled as an Advocate with the Odisha State Bar Council.

Sound knowledge and experience of land, civil, building, and real estate laws in Odisha.

Must have own vehicle for fulfilling legal assignments.

Willingness to handle both desk work and field assignments.

Salary/Fees: As per industry standards based on competency & eligibility). Travel and actual expenses shall be extra.
