About the Role
We are looking for a young, proactive Legal Advisor based in or familiar with Himachal Pradesh, particularly ManaliKullu, to support both personal and business-related legal matters.
This role will begin on an hourly, part-time basis, but as our activities expand, we expect the scope and responsibility of the work to grow significantly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants hands-on exposure, autonomy, and the chance to help build things from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Business and Corporate Legal Support
- Assist with setting up a company in Manali / Himachal Pradesh
- Advise on:
- - Business registrations and licenses
- - Local compliance requirements
- - Structuring operations within state-specific regulations
- Support the gradual relocation or expansion of company operations to Himachal Pradesh
- Draft, review, and simplify contracts, agreements, and legal documents as needed
Personal Legal Advisory
- Provide guidance on property transactions in Himachal Pradesh, including:
- - Local land laws and restrictions
- - Eligibility rules (including Section 118 and related regulations)
- - Due diligence, documentation, and registrations
- Liaise with local authorities, registrars, and other stakeholders as required
- Help ensure all transactions are compliant, transparent, and efficient
Practical Problem Solving
- Take a solutions-first approach to legal and regulatory challenges
- Work creatively within legal frameworks to help make things happen
- Coordinate with external lawyers, consultants, or government offices when needed
Who We're Looking For
Education Background
- Law degree (LLB or equivalent)
- Fresh graduates are welcome

- Practical, grounded, and action-orientednot overly theoretical
Local Knowledge
- Familiarity with Himachal Pradesh (especially KulluManali) is a strong advantage
- Ability to navigate local processes, offices, and realities
Compensation
- Hourly compensation, at a rate you deem fair based on your skills and experience
