Job Description

  • Provide legal counsel and guidance on corporate and business-related matters in the FMCG industry.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in the food sector.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Manage litigation and dispute resolution processes effectively.
  • Advise on intellectual property rights and regulatory requirements specific to the industry.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to mitigate legal risks and support decision-making.
  • Stay updated on legal developments and provide training to teams as needed.
  • Work closely with external legal counsel on specialised matters.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal Candidate should have:

  • A degree in law from a recognised institution.
  • Experience in legal roles within the FMCG or food sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate, regulatory, and compliance laws.
  • Proven ability to manage contracts, agreements, and legal disputes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in working with cross-functional teams.
