Lecturer in Civil Engineering, UNSW Canberra

Employment type: Full-time, 35 hours per week

Duration: Continuing

Remuneration: Level B from $127,947 plus leave loading and 17% super

Location: UNSW Canberra, ADFA Campus

Accountabilities

This is a dynamic role blending research and education, where you'll contribute to course and curriculum delivery and cultivate a vibrant research portfolio. As a key player, you'll craft publications, guide students, and drive grant applications, and contribute to the administration of the school. Embracing opportunities to make meaningful contributions in both academia and research, fuelling a passion for learning and innovation.

Who You Are (skills And Experience)

  • A PhD in Hydraulic or Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A profound understanding of Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering principles, methodologies, and best practices, with a track record of academic and professional accomplishments in this field.
  • Experience in course development and delivery at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
  • Proven ability to conduct impactful research in the realm of Hydraulic or Environmental Engineering, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the discipline and actively engaging in scholarly activities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the candidate to interact effectively with students, colleagues, and industry partners
