Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a LMMS Expert to work on a contract basis. As an LMMS Expert, you will apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems, shaping how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. Your domain knowledge in music production and audio engineering is what matters, and no prior experience in AI is required. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a global leader in the AI development industry, contributing directly to how AI systems learn and perform across various domains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce and document entire music projects within LMMS, from the initial idea to final master export.

• Demonstrate creative and technical decision-making throughout composition, sound design, arrangement, mixing, and mastering processes.

• Showcase hands-on expertise using LMMS on Linux, Mac, and Windows operating systems.

• Work with a variety of genres and project types, including electronic, hip-hop, pop, game audio, experimental, or podcasts.

• Utilize and explain advanced LMMS features: MIDI sequencing, effect processing, plugin integration, automation, and problem-solving techniques.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficient in using LMMS for music production, sound design, and audio editing, with the ability to work on various platforms (Linux, Mac, Windows).

• Strong knowledge of music theory, composition, and arrangement, with the ability to apply creative decision-making in composition, sound design, and mixing.

• Hands-on experience with MIDI sequencing, effect processing, plugin integration, automation, and problem-solving techniques in LMMS.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to document and explain complex audio engineering processes and decisions.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a global team.
