About Openhouse:

Openhouse today runs 10 schools in Bangalore and 2 in Kolkata, serving 500+ families, and we're expanding beyond our centres through Openhouse at Apartment and Openhouse at Home — bringing high-quality learning experiences closer to where children live.

You'll work with a young, fast-moving team, building learning resources across our programmes — from games and interactive workbooks to hands-on learning tools — all grounded in our learning framework.

We're hiring a Learning Experience Designer at Openhouse — a venture-backed education company founded by Stanford alumni — to help us design how children learn through play.

Who are you

1. Genuinely curious about how children learn
2. Have around 4+ years of relevant experience in learning experience / curriculum design, or a Master's degree in Learning Experience Design or a related field
3. Have strong visual and product thinking — you can turn a learning objective into something a child actually wants to use
4. Comfortable prototyping, testing with children and educators, and iterating quickly
5. Have high standards for both the learning and the experience

What you'll do

1. Design games, interactive workbooks and other play-based learning resources
2. Translate our learning framework into engaging, age-appropriate experiences for children aged 3–12
3. Prototype and test resources with real children and educators
4. Work closely with the learning and product teams to continuously improve what we build

Role details

1. 3-month project, with the possibility of extension
2. In-office in Bangalore
